The line of dog figurines that were produced by Albany Fine China Co. Ltd in England are among some of the finest porcelain dogs available to collect. The collection encompassed few breeds, but they are spectacular. This is the yellow Labrador Retriever by artist Neil Campbell, produced in a limited edition. The modeling and decoration on this figurine is superb. It comes with the original furniture quality wood base which adds another level of distinction to the piece. Marked under the porcelain plinth, as well as having the hand painted numbers 2014-02 present. Please enlarge the photos so you can fully appreciate the fine quality of this dog figurine. It is only for sale because it is a duplicate of one in my personal collection. Overall measurements, including the wood base, are 7" tall by 11" long by 4 1/8" deep. No longer in production. If I am being really picky, there is a tiny circle on the dog's back that looks like a drop of shiny glaze (please see closeup photo). No chips, cracks, repairs or restorations.
