This is a custom fabricated intercooler piping add-on kit for users that have already purchased a 3SX single core front mount intercooler, or a CXRacing single or dual-core front mount intercooler kit. It won't work for any side mount intercooler setup, whether stock or factory. It is not a complete FMIC kit and you will see the two different kit options in the second and third pictures. This was originally developed by myself in 2022 and has since been copied by 3SX Performance, but it has been revised and is not made in china either but here in the USA. Both of the current china made front mount intercooler options available by 3SX and CXRacing fit pretty decent if you've installed one before but they do leave much to be desired. Some youtubers on the platform have even gone as far as saying that you can't retain A/C while installing a FMIC kit but you definitely can. This intercooler piping add-on kit simplifies the install process. No longer do you have to deal with that really long intercooler pipe that goes over the front turbo and exhaust manifold which is then crammed next to another intercooler pipe by the A/C dryer. People have complained for years about getting these two pipes to fit, hacking up their body for more clearance in that wheel well area, and so forth. You won't have to fight that with this kit since it reduces the piping in this area to one. The front intercooler piping is shortened by 30” and the rear by 17". It significantly reduces the heat soak with 50+ degree intake air temperature drops logged due to no longer running the intercooler pipe over the front hot turbo and exhaust manifold. This results in more power and torque gains. There are some requirements for the install. You will need a slim passenger fan in order to clear the piping and you can see how both a second driver's side OEM fan as well as SPAL fans were used in different installs in the pictures. Stock oil cooler lines do clear but you will need to remove a bracket near the plastic splash shield for more piping clearance. Some trimming of the plastic may be required. Those that have a CXRacing dual-core intercooler kit will be required to cut one intercooler pipe under the oil cooler. It is all one piece unlike the single core kits and you need to install a 90 degree coupler there for the front turbo piping. Please see the pictures. Those that are running Arashi and Kinugawa turbos will need to clock their front turbo to meet up with the piping. This eliminates the need to grind and notch out your front engine mount bracket as well for turbo install so it's a major plus. A new rear turbo pipe, coupler, and clamps is included for the Arashi and Kinugawa turbo installs since they don't use the factory o-ring connection. It is very important that you let me know which turbos you have installed and whether they are in factory compressor housings or the larger Arashi/Kinugawa ones. I will be contacting you after the purchase to confirm since the kits are different and not all the parts are interchangeable.
